You usually add acid to water.........

But since this was a fairly dilute solution, you would probably get away with this order of addition:

#"Concentration"# #=# #"Moles"/"Volume"#

#(3.3*mol*L^-1xx0.050*L)/(350xx10^-3*L)=0.47*mol*L^-1# with respect to #HCl#.

With more concentrated acid solutions the order of addition is ALWAYS ACID TO WATER..................
