Can I change the categorization of a question after I have written an answer?
After I wrote this answer: What is in the clouds of negatively charged particles that surrounds an atom?
I noticed it was under biology instead of physics. But now that I've answered it, the only option under Edit Question is to report it; I can't change the wording or topic.

No.
Explanation:
Regular contributors cannot edit questions after they have been answered, only mods can do that.
We don't want contributors, mainly newcomers, to be able to mess with the wording of a question after someone has already provided an answer.
That is why regular contributors can only edit unanswered questions.
The same goes for the person who asked the question--once they received an answer, they can no longer change the wording of the question.
I went ahead and moved your question to
Chemistry
#-># Matter#-># Basic Atomic Structure
but let me know if you want me to move it to another subject/topic.
