1 Answer

It's not necessary for a doctor to conduct test just to determine, if you are sleep walking.

Explanation:

The most basic method is "Interview". The doctor will interview you, and some of the members of your family, who had observed you.

Once, verbal data is gathered, some doctor will conduct an MRI to observe your usually brain and nerve activity. Some cases some doctors conduct blood test, it might be hormonal or chemical imbalance.

The diagnosis part, the doctor will determine the cause of the phenomenon. In most cases, they just have problem with their nerve receptors, GABA(a) and GABA(b). Both can malfunction due to substance abuse or just physical damage.

With it comes to the treatment, I have no idea!
