# How do you graph \theta = 30^\circ?

$\theta = \alpha$ is the equation of the radial line,from pole, in that

direction.

The radial line is in $\left[{Q}_{1} {Q}_{2} {Q}_{3} {Q}_{4}\right]$,

if $\alpha \in \left[{Q}_{1} {Q}_{2} {Q}_{3} {Q}_{4}\right]$, respectively.

Here, it is in ${Q}_{1}$, wherein both $x \mathmr{and} y \ge 0$.

The slope of this line is $\tan \left({30}^{o}\right) = \frac{1}{\sqrt{3}}$ and the Cartesian

equation is

$y = \frac{1}{\sqrt{3}} x , x \ge 0 \mathmr{and} y \ge 0$, See graph.
