well, if: #x = 2 + 3t# then #t = (x-2)/3#

and if #y = 4+t#, then #t = y-4#

so

# y-4 = (x-2)/3#

# 3y-12 = x-2#

# 3y = x+10#

# y = (x+10)/3#

or, in slope-intercept form:
# y = 1/3 x + 10/3#
with slope #(1/3)# and y-intercept #(10/3)#
