$y = 2 {x}^{2} + 20 x + 50$ is already in what many people call standard form, but sometimes the term "standard form" is used to denote vertex form:
$y = a {\left(x - h\right)}^{2} + k$
$y = 2 {x}^{2} + 20 x + 50 = 2 {\left(x + 5\right)}^{2} = 2 {\left(x - \left(- 5\right)\right)}^{2} + 0$
in vertex form with $a = 2$, $h = - 5$ and $k = 0$.
