Quick answer: Do not show the stereochemistry unless you are specifically asked for it.

One of the things I learned as a student was not to include more in the answer than was asked for.
If your additional information is correct, you get no additional credit.
If your additional information is wrong, you may be penalized even though the basic answer is correct.
